17th -20th Century Stoke on Trent, Heidi's home town is the world centre of ceramics A sky of 4,000 smoking pot banks, employing over 70,000 people. from which, famous artists such as Claris Cliff and the renowned tablewares’s of Spode, Royal Doulton and Wedgwood.
1990’s Heidi's childhood in Stoke. Heidi became obsessed with the stories of the derelict pot banks, and the history of the ceramic heirlooms proudly displayed upon grannies dresser and with that a life long pride and association with the ‘made in Stoke-on-Trent’ base stamp.
2005 Heidi studied 3D design with ceramics at Stafford college.
2007 Heidi moved to Brighton to pursue degrees in ceramics, product design, and Architecture.
2015 Teddy was born and begins to develop her influencer following.
2017 After 12 years of study and work in Architecture Heidi goes back to her roots, product design with ceramics. From the living space in Heidi’s Brighton home, the Teddy Brighton brand is born.
2017 The first Teddy Brighton mug is produced to kickstart the funding for Teddy Brighton.
2018 The pet pawtrait is created. Creating the ability for large scale abstract quality art and the ability to personalise our ceramics and gift collections to feature their own design.
